Look: Midnight Blue Eyes

Happy Friday, lovelies!
Please check out our giveaway here!

It has been a while since my last make-up look post. I have been battling with my schedule that much that I hardly find time to take pictures of the make-up I am doing. But don't get me wrong. I still love doing different looks, it's just that I am still coping up with my not-so-new routine. Rest assured that after all these stuff going on in my life, I'll be back and kicking with new looks! :) That is a promise I won't dare to break!

Okay, moving on! I did this look inspired by the midnight blues during the days typhoon Juaning was beating us all up. How I miss the sun! Some says that this look is looks the same as the ones I did here and here. Do you think so too?

The looks I am making may look the same because of my hooded eyelids (the reason why the colors are not showing well) and the picture quality. But I tell you, these looks are totally different from each other. I am soon doing 'inspired' looks to take a notch on the make-up looks I am doing.

Shall we start with the tutorial? :)

1. Start with primed eyelids. Skip the application of foundation first. Fall outs may occur since we are working with dark eyeshadows.

2. Apply a blue cream eyeshadow base all over the lids. The eyeshadow base will make the powder eyeshadow adhere better on the lids.
3. Pat on a shimmery blue eyeshadow on the inner half of the eyelid. Make sure to use patting motions to avoid fall outs.

4. Apply a slightly darker blue eyeshadow on the outer half. Don't worry about the harsh lines, it will be blended afterwards.

5. Intensify the crease area with a mauve-colored eyeshadow. Bring the color higher to help with the blending. If you have hooded lids like mine, open your eyes once in a while to make sure that the colors are showing even when the eyes are open.

6. Add color if needed.

7. Line the outer 2/3 of the lower lashline with the same darker blue eyeshadow. Blend.

8. Dab on a shimmery gold eyeshadow on the inner 1/3 of the lower lashline. You may bring the color to the inner tearducts.
9. Thinly line the eyes with a black liner.

10. Line the waterline with a black eyeliner. You may use a blue eyeliner if you have one.

11. Curl lashes and apply mascara.

12. Optional: Apply false eyelashes.

13. Redefine the eyebrows and highlight the browbone area.
14. Apply foundation and concealer. You may start cleaning the fall outs under your eyes. Contour face and apply a subtle pink blush.

15. Apply a nude pink lipstick and DONE!

That's how simple it is to look extra glam! :)
